The new Society House Business Park collapsing
I read a report from the Auditor General to Parliament. The designs for that building were drafts. Construction commenced based on the drafts and as construction was going on, changes were being made on the go. This resulted in a huge cost escalation. As a result it was decided that NAPSA takeover the building as ZNBS lacked capacity to repay the now ballooned amount. It appears those adjustments made on the go impacted on the load the pillars now carry. They were not designed for the existing load. It is a mess as professionalism was thrown out through the window. Worst case scenario is demolition!
