FDA president Ludwig Sondashi has accused PF presidential candidate Edgar Lungu of embracing corrupt individuals like Rupiah Banda who late president Sata labelled as corrupt.
Sondashi noted that the decision by Lungu to get excited over the endorsement from former president Banda is a clear sign that he has gone against Sata’s wishes in fighting corruption.
Featuring on Radio Mano program Monday morning, Sondashi said it is difficult to believe that Lungu will genuinely fight corruption while in Government when he is attracted to corrupt people.
He said Sata was prosecuting Banda for engaging in corruption but wondered why Lungu has now embraced him when the PF regard Banda as having dirty hands.
Sondashi described Lungu’s friendship with Banda as a ‘marriage of convenience’ which will break after January 20 presidential by-elections.
Sondashi has meanwhile urged Zambian voters not to vote for a president who will loot state coffers together but someone has a heart for the country.
Rupiah Banda was stripped of his immunity by the PF government on allegations of corruption and is appearing in court on the same charges.
