State discontinues Kaizer Zulu’s case

The Lusaka Magistrate Court has discontinued the case in which corrupt Special Adviser for politics to President Lungu Kaizer Zulu was charged with threatening violence and discharging a fire arm in public.

The matter came up before the Lusaka Magistrate Court Monday morning but was discontinued after State Prosecutors received instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to discontinue the case.

Kaizer Zulu had last week pleaded not guilty to two counts of threatening violence and failing to take precaution against injury when he appeared before Lusaka Magistrate Mwaka Mikalile to take plea.

Zulu is alleged to have threatened violence and fired gun shots in the air after a misunderstanding with Enoch Kavindele junior at Chrisma Hotel recently.
