State House says citizens ignore Zambian Watchdog revelations that President Edgar Lungu was diagnosed with advanced throat cancer and other ailments different from what was being announced by State House.
These are the same people who killed president Michael Sata by lying that he was fine and forcing to work until he died.
State House press aide Amos Chanda also said President Lungu would not be evacuated to India or Pakistan for further specialist medical treatment. We shall wait and see.
Reacting to news published by the Watchdog Chanda, who is with President Lungu in South Africa, said the Head of State was discharged from a Pretoria clinic on Friday night but was kept for observation until yesterday when he was finally discharged. Chanda further dismissed the story that the Head of State would be flown to India or Pakistan for further treatment, and urged people to rely on the information being released by the President’s medical team. “We actually do not pay attention to what is published outside what the doctors say,” he said. “We [State House] last night [Friday] at 21:00 hours published a bulletin on the update of the President’s health; it has all the latest information on the President’s health.” Chanda said doctors attending to President Lungu had indicated that they were certain he should return home soon, since they finished con – See more at:
