Street Vendors tell off warring PF Factions, ahead of looming showdown

United Street Vendors Foundation President Teddy Sinkala says the republican Presidency was not only reserved for the warring PF leaders, as there are many other educated Zambians able to lead the country.

Sinkala’s comments come in the wake of the succession wrangles among PF officials that have followed the demise of President Michael Sata. He urged PF officials to concentrate on mourning President Sata whom he described as a loving President.

“They are the ones who are asking us to maintain peace and yet they are busy fighting. There are many other educated people capable of leading the country baleke ukulwa!” Sinkala told the media.

Meanwhile a showdown is looming after the burial of Sata today as hired cadres are plotting to forcibly remove Acting President Guy Scott from his position. The cadres want Scott replaced by party Secretary general Edgar Lungu.
