The murderous robbers in PF vehicle were recently released from prison

The two criminals who shot and killed a policeman in Lusaka and stole the money in Lusaka were recently released from prison and are actively involved in PF campaigns, police statement has confirmed.

The bandits staged the robbery in broad daylight using a PF branded vehicle which has since been abandoned and recovered by police with military weapon AK 47 believed to have been obtained from the police.

“The Zambia Police Service has recovered a Toyota Allion that was used in the Aggravated robbery yesterday 2nd August, 2016. The said vehicle was abandoned off Burma road near interland filling station. Upon searching the motor vehicle, we recovered a firearm, an AK 47 rifle with no rounds of Ammunition. This Motor vehicle was stolen at gun point in Emmasdale area along Vubu road on 31st July, 2016 at about 23:00 hours.

The Police are still pursuing these criminals who are dangerous, and are believed to be four in number and two were recently released from Prison.

We would also like to advise the public to inform the Police as soon as it is possible should they have information leading to their whereabouts and not to approach them as they are dangerous,” reads the press statement signed by spokesperson Rae Hamoonga dated 3rd August 2016.
