Government spokesperson Chishimba Kambwili has confirmed that the Zambian government has run out of money. Speaking in Parliament yesterday, Mr. Kambwili who is also information Minister said the government has no money to facilitate for compulsory digital migration by June this year. He told parliament that only those along the line of rail”may” manage to go digital by June 2015 which is the international deadline. Zambia like any other country is supposed to abandon the analogue technology to digital by June 2015 according to the International Communications Union.
