Three PF cadres in Livingstone have been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery after they hijacked a truck, but police command with instructions from State house want to change the charge to that of conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.

The identified cadres were found with fake identity cards of the Office of the President and claimed they were intelligence officers working under state house bandit Kaizer Zulu and have been using the same to defraud unsuspecting local and foreign nationals.

Baldwin Siamate Musonda, Jonathan Mayeya, and Obert Jafali attacked the Lusaka bound truck registration number AVV 3996 and driven by losing Livingstone independent candidate Edwin Simwiimba) after the Livingstone weigh bridge on Friday around 01:00hrs when they impersonated intelligence officers. The three are detained at Livingstone Central police station while the third one, Obby Mweemba is on the run.

But after the trio were arrested, State house bandit Kaizer Zulu who is believed to have helped issuing the fake cards commanded Southern province commissioner of Police Bonnie Kapeso to change the charge to a lighter offence of conduct likely to cause breach of peace so that they can be left off the hook.
