Times of Zambia is bankrupt

Despite major pronouncements that government media are doing fine under the PF regime, Times Printpak Zambia Limited which runs the Times of Zambia Newspaper is in deep financial woos and is not operating profitably.
Looks like sales are dwindling due to the PF crap the paper propagates daily and companies are not advertising in the newspapers due to low sales.
The Watchdog is reliably informed that the Times of Zambia sales three thousand (3000) copies a day, from the eighty thousand 80 000 it was selling in the UNIP era and early MMD days.
The print media house is facing serious problems in all operational areas.
Information minister Fackson Shamenda made the disclosure when he unveiled the new Times Printpak Board of directors in Lusaka this morning.
Shamenda says government currently has no funds to re capitalize either Times printpak or its sister public media firms the Zambia Daily Mail and ZNBC.
And board chairman Michael Musonda has assured the minister that his team will try to meet the challenges the media institution is facing.
