Luapula Province newly appointed Permanent Secretary Margaret Miyoba has been transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with immediate effect.
Luapula Province Minister Brigadier General Benson Kapaya disclosed this when he paid a courtesy call on Chembe District Commissioner.
He said the permanent Secretary had received her letter of transfer and showed him.
He said she has been posted to foreign affairs where she served as director before coming to Luapula as PS.
Miyoba had been in Office for 21days as she took over from Anna Mwitwa who was in office for two and half months and was transferred to Central Province.
He said he will miss her because she was hard working and hoped that the one who will be coming will be equally good.
He added that she will be in office today to do one or two things and leave for Lusaka to take up her new office.
And Chembe District Commissioner Simon Lwando agreed with the minister that Miyoba was a seasoned administrator because she knew what she was doing.
He said she was a good person to work with.
It was reported that Inutu Suba was initially planned to swap with Mwitwa but Suba declined to take up the Luapula office amidst threats from anonymous callers on her life if she did.
