UPND Holds Rally In Chadiza District
UPND President Hakainde Hichilema has reiterated his desire to develop Zambia’s agriculture sector once voted into office.
Speaking when he addressed campaign meetings in Kalemba and and Chelenga wards of rural Chadiza District earlier today, Mr. Hichilema committed to improving the market conditions for agricultural produce, as well as encouraging the growth of value addition industries.
The UPND leader also committed himself to developing the livestock sector so that farmers can earn a living from beef exports.
He bemoaned the poor state of roads in Chadiza District, as well as the lack of water and sanitation services that has left people sharing water with animals.
Vice-President Dr. Canisius Banda called on Zambians to unite behind the UPND leadership.
Dr. Banda thanked Mr. Hichilema for already appointing him to a ministerial position under the UPND government.
