United Party for National Development (UPND) has started compiling names of people it plans to submit to the International criminal court.
UPND presidential Advisor Douglas Siakalima has told QFM News that the opposition political party has overwhelming evidence to submit to the ICC on the violation of Human rights by the police who says are working under political instructions.
Mr. Siakalima says the UPND wants to ensure that it provides concrete documented evidence to the Hague.
He adds that threats by UPND to seek legal redress should not be seen as mere rhetoric stating that the party will ensure that the people responsible for Human rights abuses are brought to book.
Mr.Siakalima cited what he called the unlawful arrest of UPND Lusaka province chairman Adrian Bauleni who has since been released on murder charges as one of the cases that the party is planning to submitting to the ICC.
