UNZA students riots due to PF failure to pay lecturers

UNZA students Wednesday started the day by rioting over their last semester’ results which lecturers are withholding. Lectures refused to release the students’s results demanding payment of outstanding allowances, gratuities, etc.
The PF regime released a small amount on Tuesday but lecturers rejected it as a mere drop in the ocean.
The medical school at Ridgeway campus was also supposed to open this week but has been postponed due to financial reasons. Resident Doctors have also gone on strike as well due to the failure by the government to pay them.
President Edgar Lungu was over the weekend consumed in playing golf to raise money for elections, his number one priority.
Lungu and his PF have also released huge sums of money for people like Frank Bwalya and Ngande Mwanjiti to go and campaign.
The excuse that government has no money to pay doctors and lectures therefore does not even make sense.
