Opposition UPND deputy Secretary general Kuchunga Simusamba has announced that his party has so far resolved and finalised fielding candidates in Malambo and Mulobezi constituencies in the next set of the forth-coming expensive by-elections created by the reckless PF regime that wants more numbers to control parliament.
Mr. Simusamba said his party will rally behind the MMD candidate, most likely Dora Siliya for the Petauke Central by-election.
He said the UPND was currently still consulting on the Mkaika by-election where current MMD MP David Phiri resigned to join the PF where he was serving as a deputy minister already.
Mr. Simusamba who did not announce the adopted candidates for Malambo in Eastern province and Mulobezi in Western province said the UPND has already has already finalised the adoption process in the two constituencies.
Former MMD MP and Mines minister who recently joined the UPND expressed his willingness to re-contest the seat and is the likely choice for Malambo seat.
