UPND cadres must continue defying Sata

By Lwanzi Milimo

A Prominent Lutheran pastor and Anti-Nazi theologian Martin Niemoller (1892-1984) wrote a poem that has made me never to keep quiet even if people insult me for my radical stance on PF and Sata’s babaric leadership.

The title of the poem is “First they came”. He was initaially a supporter of Adolf Hitler; Niemoller eventually became one of the staunchest critics of Nazism. For his opposition to Hitler’s Nazi regime, Niemoller was imprisoned in two concetration camps, where he narrowly escaped execution.

In his poem he describes the consequesnces of silence and inaction of many people after the nazis began the purging of their chosen targets, one group after another:

“In Germany they came first for the communist, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a communist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionists,

Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a protestant.

Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up”

One who reads this man’s writing will sure think he Sata is Hitler and PF is Nazi, and the old Germany reborn in Zambia.

Sata ascended to power as a saint and no one thought this man would fail this nation is a short period of time. But Sata today is viewed as a devil himself who has not jailed failed to rule but also turned himself a dictator.

He first went for Rupiahs and His son; all were quiet, because Sata’s satanic newspapers convinced People that he stole.

Then he went after Tongas, he grabbed their most economic part of Tonga land and accused them of having a terrorist militia group called Tongas on oath. Zambians were quiet and the barbarian would have gone on to cause anarchy had it not been for RSA Ambassadors and US that intervened.

Then he went after the Lozis and arrested all those who spoke about restoration of BA64, and the dictator only realized after a UN order, what a shameless man especially to realise that he was the chairman of Linyungandambo when in opposition.

Sadly Zambians as usual with their cowardly silence, they never protested at this barbaric action of one anarchist.

Then he and PF came after the Bembas and Sosala and no meaningful noise has been sounded not even by the Bembas themselves. Zambians are pathetic cowards God knows it.

He is now after Opposition leaders. Opposition leadership can unite the whole country and demonstrate to send one voice at once. PF and Sata are the minority its time all the opposition agree to be real Zambians and defend the future of this country without look at selfish benefits.

I want to urge all UPND sympathizers to keep up with boldly step to always accompany their leader and fight for the freedoms and rights of the citizens of this country.

Yes, some of you would be brutalized but it’s worth it, our fore fathers paid a great price of blood to have this independence which one uneducated former colonial spy is denying you.

Never ever give up. You are defenders of our nation and the voice to the voiceless. And above all God is with you and your Leader.
