UPND wants Sata blocked from presidential race for only declaring seven guns

The United Party for National Development (UPND) on the Copperbelt has called on Chief Justice Ernest Sakala to investigate Patriotic Front (PF) Michael Sata and disqualify him from the presidential race.

In an interview with HOT FM, UPND Copperbelt Spokesperson Kennedy Kalunga said his party is disappointed by Sata’s fake declaration of asserts as he filed in his nomination at the Supreme Court last week.

Sata declared that owns seven different types of guns and a few shares in one big company.

Kalunga charged that the PF leader did not declare some houses that he owns in Lusaka’s Avondale and other areas in Lusaka, adding that all relevant investigate wings should look into the matter and publicise the findings.

He also challenged Sata to deny that he does not have roots from Tanzania saying he is not a Zambian by birth.

Kalunga further condemned the PF President for giving false information to the Chief Justice and called for him to be investigated and barred from the race to plot one.
