The ruling Patriotic front has accused the opposition united Party for national development (UPND) of hiring criminals to cause violence in the country.

PF media and publicity Director Chanda Mfula (in the photo)  says hiring criminals to cause lawlessness in the country is a threat to the peace and security of the country.

Mfula has since called on the Zambia Police Service to investigate the UPND’ s alleged manoeuvres to destabilise the peace and security of Zambians.

He says the UPND is associated with violence adding that past elections experiences have clearly implicated the opposition to be highly inclined to violent conduct.

And Chanda Mfula has welcomed the move by Home Affairs Minister Edgar Lungu to ban cadres from accompanying their leaders appearing before law enforcement agencies.

He says the move is aimed at maintaining law and order in the country.

Mfula was speaking in an interview with Qfm news.

Before elections, Chanda Mfula was planted at MISA Zambia secretariat as personal spy for Michael Sata.
