UPND not aggrieved by Sata’ statement-Nkombo

The  United Party for National Development (UPND) has  refuted reports that some of   Members of Parliament (MPs) are upset with the Patriotic Front (PF) Leader Michael Sata.

Sata is alleged to have said that members of the National Constitutrional Conference  (NCC) are nothing but plunderers of public funds.

Speaking to Hot FM Radio, UPND Mazabuka MP, Garry Nkombo said it is shameful for the media to claim such and attribute the reports to Bweengwa MP, Highvie Hamdudu.

Nkombo said though the PF\UPND pact members may differ because they sometimes have divergent views, the members have a better way of resolving their issues.

He said the pact would always try to harmonize the positions of the members so that it could work for the benefit of the nation.

Meanwhile, the UPND and PF will this morning hold a joint press briefing at the UPND secretariat in Rhodes Park.
