UPND members knifed in Isoka

UPND members knifed in Isoka

Moses Makanga knifed, Elisha Simfukwe beaten mercilessly. These are UPND Muchinga District officials that were at the radio station when HH was speaking about Covid-19.

Laura Miti writes
So, What Now Dora??

Minister Dora Silya, have you heard that PF thugs attacked ISO FM radio station in Isoka and damaged property?

Reason – the station was broadcasting an HH interview.

This happens less than 24 hours after your little damage control PR statement that tried, unconvincingly, to suggest that thuggery and lawlessness are not in the PF DNA.

But lawlessness is PF, isn’t it? Everyone in PF is either a thug or actively supports thuggery and lawlessness. EVERYONE!

It is the only PF way.

You closed Prime TV for no reason other that you feared the presence of a platform for citizen voice that PF does control. You closed them most likely because of Bill 10 and 2021.

Look now, your party thugs read the memo. Do you see how you have no control over them?

The only thing that makes you Minister or indeed Edgar Lungu President are your privileges at tax payer expense. Other wise you have no authority as those hooligans in Isoka have shown.

So, tell us again that these thugs are not sent by the party. We are waiting!

Gosh Dora, you and your mates have destroyed our beautiful Zambia just because you are obsessed with power.

You have no idea how this hurts those of us that love this oddly shaped land mass and all that is hers😢.

Laura Miti.

Yotam Mtayachalo writes

This is a very sad state of affairs and it is coming barely a day when the minister of information issued a statement condemning the mpika and Chinsali incidences but cadres cannot heed the wise counsel from their leaders then who are they going to listen to.?

I have just been speaking to someone in Isoka and people are extremely disappointed with the behaviour of these cadres therefore the sooner the party deals with this matter expeditiously and decisively than later because the party’s image is at stake typical of the behaviour of unip vigilantes who ran a reign of terror against people who were perceived as enemies of the state.

In fact the provincial chairman for muchinga province must be held responsible for such unbecoming conduct because he is on record stating that muchinga is a no go area for the opposition and as such we shall see what action the party will take to being to book these culprits in regard to the latest Isoka incident.

When hakahinde lost elections in 201 his Tonga cadets beat Bemba’s in southern province was not this violence and tribal and did this not happen in the beautiful Zambia? Ho come on don’t think we have forgotten this. You can say anything now. I am writing this because of this woman who thinks Zambians are dull and are not seeing what she with payments from hakahinde is doing otherwise we have stopped commenting on these tribal valueless and useless articles and comments

In Zambia, it has become a ‘New Normal’ for the ruling party to load it over on the major opposition party by intimidation, beating, violence, denying permits……

PF and UPND went through at the hands of MMD. Now the opposite is true, it’s the PF at it because they hold the instruments of power. We have a lot of Political parties in Zambia. Many of them except the UPND have hibernated and we will just see them to come on board starting January 2021. The PF are hell-burnt to shut them up because it is not campaign period. Should national issues, events and calamities wait until campaign time? PF is uneasy especially with HH saying anything on any platform. This trend has to stop because when the victims reach a point of no return, they will apply the theory of : The best way to defend is to attack.

To all Political Parties in Zambia: it is better to be massacred than to be ignored. Do Not wait for 2021, wake up now!

During post election violence, just like Jack has indicated, this roller meat what ever it is called thinks Zambians have chicken brains. Bembas were beaten and their dwellings touched in Namwala. The government found them a sanctuary at Namwala secondary school before they were relocated to Lusaka, Luapula and Northern provinces and the UPND thugs were only arrested when Commissioner B. Kapeso became southern province top cop after eluding arrest for 2 years. Ms Chanda a teacher in Sinazongwe was badly beaten by UPND thugs. Mr Banda a businessman running a night club in Monze was his night club touched and he was given 24hrs state security by the police. This includes the proprietor of TOOTAS in Monze was also given 24hrs state security. This is not about Tongas believe these are generally good and hard working people, its about UPND thugs who have found a cultic leader in HH. When they see 50 votes going to PF in a constituency for them it is either a bemba or ngoni who voted for PF and they target them. These memories are fresh and that’s why people fear the HH rule of the future if it will come. You will never see President Lungu addressing the international community so that they can put UPND on a list of terrorist groups. Its not about improving the economy, its about the safety of every Zambian in what ever the corner of the country and HH has to convince us genuinely .God bless Zambia.

Mr Sata (PF opposition leader ) was attacked and slapped by Willie Nsanda MMD thug at radio Chengelo in Kitwe before he crossed over to PF at the invitation of Mr Sata; Father Frank Bwalya (PF deputy publicity secretary) was attacked by UPND thugs at sky FM in Monze and was injured badly; HH (UNDP opposition leader) was attacked by MMD thug shi Mpundu pa Nkoloko and his fellow criminals at Sun FM in Ndola but escaped through the top roof unhate. All these parties have a fair share of criminal elements. Welcome to SMART business of controlling your tax and natural resources. This is a game. Viva Chagwa.

This is a matter for the Police, why are they quiet? “Hon. “ Yaluma gave hate speeches in his constituency up to now nothing has been done about his conduct by Police. There is not hope for justice for those of us not supporting thuggery in whatever form. GBM and group went to Southern Province and spoke in Bemba😲 at public  gatherings. Nobody lynched them. Their other party cadre a Mutale was all over Southetn Province distributing mealie meal to vulnerable groups, God bless him, but he spoke in Tonga telling his hungry audience not to expect a aTonga president.😯Nobody lynched him, his party did not discipline him either for his bad language; the Police turned a blind ear, possibly overwhelmed by father freebies. Cry my beloved Zambia.

Jane Karima: If only I could meet u one day and give u a short analysis of Zambian politics and state administration apparatus from its founding by UNIP in 1964 which still affects the present. If the current violence is not stopped, Zambia risks relagating its position to that of Nigeria in the not-too-distant future. Edgar Lungu and his PF are up to no good.

In my spirit. I see a pending disaster if such acts are not stopped.

One day these thugs will meet a mad man or Zambian who will do acts that will change this behavior for good.

In my spirit. I see that thats the only way peoole will that violence does not pay but that may be too late.

I pray for my good Country Zambia that one day such does not going to happen.

Three things come out of this. One, this matter is not to be dealt by Pf alone but the police as well. The police must arrest all perpetrators in Mpika, Chinsali and Isoka as this is a criminal act. The footage are there to help. The inspector general of police instruct your men to do the needful. Secondly, the Pf Executive committee should discipline all officials involved, as they have tarnished the image of the ruling party big time. Lastly, it clearly shows that Pf cadres have no regards of Dora Siliya and cannot respect what she says. If no action is taken we will be left with no choice but to conclude that 1.The acts have a blessing of the pf executive. 2.The police are compromised or fear pf cadres. 3. Cadres are more powerful than Dora Siliya. People will loose confidence in the police.

Ba Laura, You have been quiet ever since Covid-19 broke out. Suddenly there is a hot topic to comment on. Not that what happened is not a bad thing, but it clearly shows your leanings – a polarized NGO (like most of the others), peddling the masters voice.

The issue should be handled by the CEO of PF. What is Mwila doing about this??????????

if only the pf govt can put themselves in the shoes of the victims of this violence, they can feel how it hurts and only then they can be able to act and protect the people against such inhuman behaviours. But alas the pf govt ard so confortable and they cant even see a black sport on white. Too bad mwee
