UPND not in hurry to fill vice-president vacancy – Simusamba

The United Party for National Development (UPND) has said that it is not in a hurry to replace its former vice president Richard Kapita who defected to the ruling PF recently.

Kapita will soon be given a big position in PF at the expense of genuine PF members and supporters who suffered to remove the corrupt MMD regime. There is an ongoing project to replace PF with MMD. See details here

UPND Deputy Secretary General Kuchunga Simusamba said that the party has moved on and is in no hurry to replace Mr. Kapita.

He said that with time the party national management committee will meet and advise on the way forward with regards the vacant position of vice president for administration.

Simusamba said that the UPND is growing everyday and that the defection of one person has no impact in the smooth running of the political business of the party.
