UPND candidate Peter Phiri says his main priority when elected MP on 30th June would be to resolve problems of human – animal and water supply in the area.
“You see, all these people depend on this private borehole because government has failed them. They also cannot do much of agriculture because of human animal conflict and when am given chance I would set that as my priority areas. The ZAWA Act needs to be implemented so as to protect human life because some of these animals cause havoc,” he said during a meeting.
The Malambo seat is being contested by UPND’s Phiri, PF’s Jacob Shuma, Jairus Mchenga of UNIP and only female and independent Florence Mwayopa.
