Water blues hit Kitwe Central hospital; patients turn to rainy water

There is not water in this hospital

Kitwe Central Hospital has run out of water, according to Tumfweko news.

The Ophthalmology Department is the worst hit and the lack of water at the hospital is worsened by Power black outs which is the order of the day.

Just a few days ago, University Teaching Hospital and Mwanwasa hospitals in Lusaka experienced critical water blues.

Meanwhile the government is constructing swimming pools and naming them 90 days theory or miracles when the water can be put to better use.

Sources at Kitwe Central hospital said there has been no water since Last Saturday morning.

Literary, there is no water. Thus, sources are asking: How is one expected to survive? No water either in the vicinity. Can you imagine the mess in the kitchen sink and other rooms not to be mentioned?

In spite of not having water, one source said, “Thank God, last night it rained, and I collected some water that I used to bath.” Nature has a way of surprising us.
It is with great hope that the problem will be sorted out. If not, then it is better to close the institution.

As if the water problem was not enough, the whole of last night, there was no power in this block of flats.
