Why cant PF let court keep disputed ballots?

I don’t understand why the PF is opposed to the idea of having the ballot papers and other election materials to be in the custody of the Court for safekeeping. I believe the UPND wants these materials to be more secure. If the PF genuinely won the elections, why don’t they allow the election materials to be properly secured so that they can protect the evidence of Lungu’s Victory?

Attorney General Likando Kalaluka told the Constitutional Court that the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) was neither independent nor an autonomous body but is a government department. Edgar Lungu has refused to hand over power to the Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini. This effectively means that Lungu has control of these materials and can easily instruct Priscilla Isaacs and the entire ECZ to change some things. Could this be the reason Lungu doesn’t want the Court to take Custody of the election materials? Could this be the reason why Lungu doesn’t want to step aside?

If the PF genuinely won the August 11 elections, let them allow the Courts to properly secure these materials. It’s the only evidence that can confirm Lungu’s victory if it was genuine. In fact, they should be more concerned about the security of the election materials than the UPND.
