UPND spokesperson Charles Kakoma said that those incarcerated include Hichilema’s assistant press aide Brian Mwiinga and political advisor William Banda while others are the UPND leader’s workers.
“Brian Mwiinga, the assistant for press and William Banda are still in custody. Actually, we have thirteen people in custody, including HH. Some of them are HH’s security personnel and workers that were found at his house. They have been detained at various police stations in Lusaka. The last information about Brian and Mr Banda was that they were at Emmasdale Police Station,” Kakoma said.
“They have been held without charge…The Police have started a manhunt for everyone that was seen in Mongu and detaining vehicles that were spotted in Mongu,” said Kakoma.
