As earlier disclosed by the Zambian watchdog, outgoing President Edgar Lungu has set the tone for possible arrest of his main contenders in the upcoming elections by alarming the nation that UPND President Hakainde Hichilema and his Vice-president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba were training a militia of 250 youths in Zambia.
Lungu, probably drunk as usual vomited that he has intelligence information that UPND leader Hichilema and GBM were training 250 militiamen in Lusaka to cause violence and refuse to accept results if they lose this year’s elections.
He was speaking when he addressed a rally in Katete Friday morning. He said that he will not tolerate the act and will take necessary action using his powers as President.
Lungu told the gathering that he is the most powerful man in Zambia and will deal with the situation to ensure that peace prevails before, during and after the elections in August.
