Malole MP Christopher Yaluma has continued labeling UPND president Hakainde Hichilema a Satanist including the SDA, Pentecostal, and New Apostolic Churches the UPND leader attended recently attended.
Hachilema during Christmas Day attended church service at Bread of Life, and was recently in New Apostolic Church on the Copperbelt, while his church is Seventh Day Adventist.
But addressing party members and separate meetings in hi constituency and Kasama over the weekend, Yaluma, who is also Energy Minister insisted that Hichilema was as Satanist and even the churches he recently attended (SDA, Pentecostal, and New Apostolic) practiced Satanism.
When he brought up the subject on Radio Mano Programme yesterday, it took Kasama Central MP Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba to intervene and threaten Yaluma with a legal suit.
Yaluma’s accusations of labeling the UPND leader of being a Satanist come despite an apology by Acting-president Guy Scott who recently disowned some Bishop Eduard Chomba following his accusations at a public rally in Kabwe.
Some of the PF officials in the meeting revealed that since the tribal tag on Mr. Hichilema was now failing following a number of political heavyweights from Northern, Eastern, Luapula, Western, and other parts of the country joining or endorsing the UPND leader, the main weapon now was to keep accusing him (Hichilema) of being a Satanist, including some of the churches he attends.
Malole farmers waited for Yaluma to tell them when the PF government would pay them their money owed by FRA but the MP only kept on attacking the opposition UPND and churches in Zambia.
