Police in Livingstone picked up a body of a middle aged man on Kombe drive Friday morning.
The body was spotted by a woman going to Church for morning prayers around 05 hours.
Livingstone District Officer Commanding, John Zimba who was found at the scene, told ZNBC news that the man is suspected to have been beaten by unknown people though no physical injuries have been found.
Mr. ZIMBA says investigations have been instituted to ascertain what happened.
However some residents said the dead man, only identified as Kapokola, was last seen in a drunken state Thursday evening.
They suspect that due to his drunken state, he could have failed to walk home and slept at the Kombe drive T-Junction near a stream and died due to the cold.
