Zambia acquires another loan

Zambia has acquired another loan of US$67 from the World Bank.
The World Bank board of directors approved a US$52 million International Development Agreement (IDA) credit and US$15 million.

According to those who signed the papers, the loan will help Zambia improve its health delivery systems and utilisation of maternal, new-born, child health and nutrition services.
World Bank country director for Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe Kundhavi Kadiresan said the project would specifically support side interventions such as improving the availability of skilled healthcare.
