Zambia and Namibia confer

A high powered ministerial delegation from Nambia is in Zambia for a consultative meeting over the construction of the multi billion Kwacha Kazungula Bridge.

The delegation led by minister of Works and Transport, Helmut Angula, met with Acting Works and Supply Minister, Kapembwa Simbao in Lusaka on Thursday.

Mr. Simbao said the Kazungula bridge is a viable project as it will will boost regional trade and tourism.

And Mr. Angula challenged SADC member states to harmonise their infrastructure development plans.

He also called for a liberalised travel regulation over the Zambezi water ways.
