Talkative Information and Broadcasting Permanent Secretary Emmanuel Mwamba has virtually confirmed what Zambians have already known about the public media operations when he categorically stated that Acting Zambia Daily Mail editor Anthony Mukwita will be confirmed in his position whenever the board sits.

Mr. Mwamba told radio Phoenix that the Zambia Daily Mail Board Chaired by Mizinga Melu, a woman many believe to be a well respectable person in corporate governance, will merely rubber stamp Mukwita as new Managing Editor to replace Isaac Chipampe, who has been shunted as Emmanual Mwamba’s office orderly at the Ministry of Information.

Mwamba said Mukwita was a very innovative person because he has managed to put Zambia Daily Mail on Facebook, where it channels information in competition with other on-line media houses such as the Zambian watchdog.

Unfortunately for close to 2 years that Mukwita has been planting PF propaganda on the Facebook, the Daily Mail page has only attracted 27 300 likes compared to the Zambian Watchdog page which was created in July this year and has more than 64 000 likes already.
