Zambia demolishes Senegal to lead group A

Zambia has beaten Senegal 2 goals to one in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The victory by Zambian means they are now leading group A where they are grouped with Equatorial Guinea, Libya and Senegal.

Mayuka gave Chipolopolo a lead after just 12 minutes of the game. A few minutes later Kalaba rounded off the Senegalese keeper to slot home Zambia’s second goal.

Dame N’Doye pulls one back for Senegal to make the score 2-1 against Zambia.

Captain Chris Katongo commented at the end of the game that ‘the victory means so much for us. No body expected us to beat Senegal. History is there to see.’
