Zambia deports two Rwandese refugees under UN protection

The Zambian government has kidnapped two Rwandese who  include a famous medical doctor at the  UTH and  deported them to Rwanda as genocide suspects

The UTH Doctor, who been treating patients for over 10 years in Zambia is Egibe Rwasibo and Innocent Habumugisha.
The two are currently stranded at the Kigali airport after the authorities there refused to accept them in fear of jeopardizing their international reputation as the two are refugees and therefore under the protection of the UN.

 The two were taken to the airport and put on the notorious Air Rwanda, which is used to secretly ferry genocide suspects.
“They were taken to the airport under serious police escort and as I am talking to you  now they are in Kigali. We are not sure as to what has happened to them,” said the source.  
Their lawyer, Dickson Jere of Mvunga Associates confirmed the deportation of his clients..
“They are  stranded in Kigali Rwanda at the airport ” he said.
Previous Zambian governments had refused to deport the Rwanda as most of them were born in Zambia and studied in here  but yet they are appear on the list of those who participated in the 1994 genocide.
