Zambia should remain in ICC – opposition leader

img_1261UPND leader Halainde Hichilema has advised Zambians to stop Edgar Lungu to pull out the country from the International Criminal court.

Hichilema says the Zambia people should stop maneuvers by Lungu to pull out the country from the International Criminal court before he turns the country into a monarchy.

Hichilema says the disclosure by Lungu that he will hold talks on how Zambia must pull out of the ICC is a clear indication that he has bad intentions for the country and its citizens.

He has wondered why Mr. Lungu wants to pull the country out of ICC if he knows that he was democratically elected.

Leaders on the continent that have committed atrocities have decided to pull out of the ICC in fear of being held accountable when they leave power.
