The Zambia police has no forensic pathologist.
A police or state forensic pathologist is the official concerned with determining the cause of death by examination of a corpse usually in criminal cases.
Zambia’s only state Forensic Pathologist and senior assistant commissioner of police Joseph Banda died last year.
The government has up to now not appointed a replacement for Banda.
