The Zambia national football team has been invited to take part in a Four Nations tournament which has been organised by the Angolan Football Federation as part of Angola celebrating 40 years of independence.
Angola celebrates its Independence Day on November 11 but the international football tournament officially known as ’40 Years of Independence Tournament’ has been scheduled to take place on 6th and 7th November.
The tournament will be hosted at the 11th of November Stadium in Luanda.
Zambia will join hosts Angola as well as Cosafa champions Namibia and Democratic Republic of Congo.
Zambia will depart for Luanda on Wednesday.
FAZ Communications Manager Nkweto Tembwe told Fazfootball.com that Coach George Lwandamina will use the tournament to prepare the team for upcoming Fifa and Caf engagements.
