Zambian female drug trafficker freed in Pakistan

A 23 year old Zambian woman has been released from a Pakistan prison after serving her sentence for drug trafficking.

Precious Selisho was released from the Quetta District jail after completing her 50 days sentence, according to the Drug Enforcement Commission of Zambia.

Selisho was in June this year arrested at Quetta International Airport for trafficking in heroin crystals weighing 250grams which was placed in her uterus.

Her sentence is one of the most lenient sentences as Pakistan has some of the toughest anti-drug laws.

About three Zambians died in that country in the last two years after being arrested for drug trafficking offences.
