As Zambians we should once stop the circus and unite and make this corrupt and incompetent government to give way to a generation of progressive Zambian patriots with progressive ideas before it’s too late. Where did Chellah get such huge of money to purchase such a very expensive house in Ibex at almost a billion kwacha in less than a year he has been in office and who is he to have his wife moved from a reception at ZESCO to a high ranking marketing manager?
Those of you who had even a slight faith in Michael Sata and team should now wake up. Sata and his team are incompetent and greed who are just there to enrich themselves. If Sata and team have the heart and burden for Zambia as they claim, there was no way he was going to retain old people in his government who are supposed to be enjoying their retirement, at the expense of young educated Zambians who are languishing on the streets without jobs. He also went to increase the retirement age to 60 years so as to please his old colleagues even when the life spurn of most Zambians have dropped to 45 years due to poverty and the AIDS pandemic.
With this when are the same youths who sacrificed their lives to remove MMD from power going to have chance to work if Sata has retained old people in his government?
There’s no change that Sata and PF have brought, if anything they have proved to be very greed and corrupt going even by the people he has appointed in his government. Sata to me is the worst president that Zambia has ever had because apart from being incompetent, he is also a dictator and corrupt and that’s why he has put in crucial positions people with questionable character like the DPP. Sata has taken the country 20 years backwards in terms of policies and development, and even turned it into a police state.
Further Sata is a high jacked president who is just out to please and enrich his high jackers. Hence, the appointments of the legion of KK family, and Post News Paper personnel among other things in his government, and as long as these people are doing well, all the Zambians will be hearing and reading is that Sata is the great leader even when the majority of our people are wallowing in abject poverty and thing going from bad to worse in Zambia.
Sata’s orthodox and dictatorial way of running government will no doubt land our country’s economy into chaos more than where KK and UNIP left it because the country cannot develop by paying and forcing Media organisations and people to be singing praises for the president. This is what Zambians have failed to realise. Even late president Fredrick Chiluba and former president Rupiah Banda had they embraced and rewarded KK and team; and Fred Membe and team like Late Mwanawasa did and now Sata is doing, no doubt they should have been also portrayed as heroes in Zambia because what made Mwanawasa for a example great, it’s the lies and intimidation that he and the Post Newspaper had subjected our people to.
Mwanawasa was always a fool and cabbage among other things to the Post Newspaper when he became president, but the moment he started giving those loans of billions kwacha and allows them to flout airport rules, he suddenly became the greatest president. Even Michael Sata too was called all sorts of names, but the moment he bowed to them and promised them what he is now busy fulfilling such as appointments in government and foreign service , punishing anyone who raises his or her voice against them like the three judges and forcing the Development Bank of Zambia to forget about the billions of loans owed among other things, he is a very humble and great president as far as Fred Meembe and his Post Newspaper are concerned.
Will we all buy into such nonse as Zambians? I for one will never even if it means going to maximum prison or even losing my life for the sake of mother Zambia.
Or else there’s nothing much or extraordinary thing that Mwanawasa did in Zambia apart from just finishing the projects that Chiluba had initiated. Let us not be silent about the noses that are now happening, we are all Zambians and no one should intimidate or make you feel that you are inferior to them. Let us fight for mother Zambia for the sake of our children tomorrow, or history will judge us harshly.
