Zambia’s Olympic committee recruits Hollywood star

Surrey County Council youth worker Ollie Wilson has fought as a Jedi in two Star Wars films, acted as a Death Eater in a Harry Potter movie and fought the Dark Knight in Batman Begins.

Ollie said: “It will be an incredible experience and I can’t wait to get out there and make a difference.”

Denise Saliagopoulos, Surrey County Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Services, said: “I’m delighted we could bring Ollie and the Zambian National Olympic committee together and I hope their relationship is a fruitful one.”

Despite a glittering Hollywood career, Ollie is dedicated to his job mentoring children at Jubilee High School is Addlestone.

The former boxer, who has also been a bodyguard for Led Zeppelin and The Who has recently opened a training facility for young people called the Biz in Chertsey.
