The Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) headquarters in Chilanga district remains sealed off by Police.
This is to facilitate ongoing investigations into the corruption allegations which have resulted in the sacking of the ZAWA Director General and four other top officials.
Tourism and Arts Minister Sylvia Masebo announced the sacking of the Edwin Matokwani led ZAWA management over alleged corruption in the process of awarding hunting safari concessions.
Ms Masebo has since cancelled the hunting safari concessions ZAWA awarded to some companies stating that she did not have confidence in the whole process.
A check by Qfm radio at the ZAWA offices in Chilanga found Police presence guarding the closed offices to prevent tempering of evidence.
And Ms. Masebo has indicated that more ZAWA officers are likely to be fired and face corruption allegations.
