ZRA sends demand notice to Post newspaper for K12 billion

The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) have finally written a demand notice to the PF compromised Post newspaper demanding settlement of K12 billion the newspaper owes.

Sources with the PF government disclosed that the revenue agency wrote the letter last week demanding for payment of unsettled tax areas the paper owes.

It is not yet clear what action the PF government will do should the newspaper fail to settle the demanded amount.

In the past, the PF have been quick to close entities for their perceived enemies who default in registration or payment of statutory obligations as was the case with the opposition MMD which Registrar of Societies, Clement Andeleki closed.

Sources have also said the PF government will move in to recover monies Fred Mmembe and Mutembo Nchito owe National Airports Corporation through the defunct Zambia Airways.
